Fragrance/Aroma & Flavour Analysis
Fragrance/Aroma
The smell of blueberries wafting out from the grinder as the beans are ground is an indication of the taste you'll experience in the cup.
We recently experienced this when grinding a Beloya, which in the cup tatsed like a 'liquid blueberry muffin'.
Coffee & Food Pairing
Flavour
Marmite, Treacle, Twix, Cigar, Earthy, Spicy, Lemon, Strawberry - each coffee has a different taste and in many cases multiple flavours will exist in the cup

Taste Profile Notes
Coffee Taste Profiling is an important step for both commercial and home barista's. Choosing the right blend can make or break a cafe.

We will profile coffees that we have recently tasted and provide details on how coffees are cupped to internationally recognised standards.
Coffee Cupping
In our grinder
We are currently enjoying a number of single origin coffees from 3 UK roasters
We're exploring alternative brewing methods using a Chemex and an Aeropress.
The coffees have radically different flavours than when they are extracted as an espresso, showing brighter fruit levels, less acidity and a bolder aroma.
