A great barista makes this process look so simple. There are a number of variables to consider and compensate for throughout this process that require a level of understanding to allow you to control and manipulate the desired outcome.

At 5M Coffee Company we believe that training you on your own machine will achieve the best result. Our team of trainers have used a number of Commercial Espresso Machines throughout their careers and can adapt to their surroundings, producing a consistent shot after only a short time 'dialling in' your grinder and coffee machine.

Starting out by assessing your technique (for each staff member being trained) and sampling the coffee(s) you have prepared, we will walk you through the steps using The 5M's Principle, recording any changes in your routine and providing you with a training roadmap.

Our barista training courses are bespoke. We work with you to identify faults with espresso extractions and provide documented solutions and training plans to use as a measurable quality management system.

Flexible Training Solutions

We recognise that you often have to juggle shifts, have busy periods at different times of the day and may struggle to get the team together for training sessions, and can accommodate training sessions at times to suit (which may be evenings or weekends).

How to Book your Coffee Training Module

To book your Coffee Training Module we have a simple 2 step process, designed to ensure you receive the right training for your needs.

Step 1. Call us (07766050951) to hold a date

Step 2. Your training date will be confirmed by email / sms

Your trainer will call you to discuss your coffee machine setup and to reconfirm the most suitable time to visit.

If we have not used the coffee machine you own then we may need an extra 15 minutes to familiarise ourselves with your equipment prior to commencing training.

Please note:
We do not generally accept training requests for bean-to-cup machines but work with a number of providers who provide training on these machines.
